Dr Sinéad Brown | Chartered Clinical Psychologist | DClinPsych, PhD, C.Psychol.
Dr Sinéad Brown is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist providing psychological
assessment and therapy across the lifespan. She works with a broad range of
psychological and emotional difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD,
emotional regulation difficulties and challenges associated with significant life
experiences or transitions. She also has experience in neurodevelopmental and
neuropsychological assessment, including ADHD and autism.
Sinéad takes a warm, collaborative, trauma-informed and individually tailored
approach, drawing on evidence-based psychological therapies including Cognitive
Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and systemic
approaches.
Alongside therapeutic work, Sinéad provides comprehensive psychological assessments and independent psychological reports for individuals and third-party referrers.
Sinéad holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College Dublin and
a PhD in Psychology with Neuroscience from Queen’s University Belfast. She is
registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a Chartered
Psychologist with both the British Psychological Society (BPS) and Psychological
Society of Ireland (PSI).
She is also a recognised psychology provider with AXA Health, Aviva, Vitality and
WPA, allowing eligible clients to access psychological services through their private
health insurance.
