Ultrasound is an excellent service for health check MOTs. Most vital organs are visualised in the abdomen. Here at MedicsDirectNI, we provide a health screen of your organs to check for any early features that may not yet have clinical symptoms.
Abdomen / Pelvis Ultrasound
– Scan duration: 20 minutes
– Preparation:
– You must fast for 4 hours before your appointment. You may drink water only.
– Please arrive at the clinic with a full bladder.

Lump / Superficial Abnormality / Paraumbilical Hernia / Thyroid Ultrasound / Testicle lump
– Scan duration: 10-15 minutes
– Preparation: No preparation is required.
– Cost: £195

– Please note that ultrasound scans are performed by a Radiology Consultant Doctor.
– Your appointment is for the specific scan that has been booked. If you have concerns about other areas, please arrange a separate appointment for an additional scan. We are unable to scan extra areas during your scheduled appointment unless there is a cancellation.
